✈️ Flight Time Calculator
Estimate flight duration, distance, and time zone change between any two airports. Instant results — no sign-up required.
⚠️ Estimates based on great-circle distance at ~900 km/h cruising speed. Actual times vary by airline, routing, and winds. Always check your booking confirmation.
How Flight Time is Calculated
This calculator uses the haversine formula to compute the great-circle distance between two airports — the shortest path over the Earth's surface. Flight time is estimated by dividing that distance by a typical commercial cruising speed of 900 km/h (560 mph), then adding overhead time for taxi, takeoff, and landing.
Overhead time added: 45 min for short-haul (<1,000 km), 60 min for medium-haul (1,000–4,000 km), 75 min for long-haul (4,000–8,000 km), 90 min for ultra-long-haul (>8,000 km).
Time zone difference is calculated from each airport's standard UTC offset. Actual local time differences may vary due to daylight saving time.
